My Sacrifice
by Christine Hardin

Lies...all dirty, filthy lies,
my heart enplodes,
and slowly dies.
My memories of you,
wither away...
and on the floor,
I stiffly lay.
The breath of death,
wisp upon my neck.
It shouldn't be long,
before my life's a wreck.
Thanks to you,
I have no life...
by the end of the week,
I'll have nothing else to sacrifice.
